You know I love investing in stocks but also got my start investing in real estate…so which is the better investment? I had to get the other side of the story for stocks versus real estate. Who do you think won?
Our points:
Real estate investing is inflation proof. As values go up, as price go up, our rents go up at the same time so we do not make any less money!

Stocks are completely passive income. Real estate can be management headaches.

Real estate investing is also recession proof because we make passive income $250 or more from every property.

With stocks, you’re always collecting that dividend. With real estate, if the tenant doesn’t pay, you’re out of luck.

With real estate investing, you can actually borrow the bank’s money to buy properties that make you money. Try doing that with stocks, they’re going to laugh you out of the building.

With stocks, you can buy or even short if the stocks are going down. With real estate, it’s really hard to short real estate.

With long-term buy and hold real estate, I don’t pay my taxes, I don’t pay my mortgage, I don’t even pay my insurance. My tenant pays all of that and I make passive income on top of that!

You can buy and sell stocks for nothing. Real estate, you’re paying thousands in commissions.
